We are excited to share with you our journey as Loka takes us down the US East Coast and beyond. We have purchased the PredictWind Data Hub and have it configured to support realtime tracking of our location. The cool thing about this tracker is the webpage that they provide where you can see our progress as well as the current wind conditions. While not our only source of weather data, we rely heavily on the services that PredictWind provides, particularly the data hub’s integration with our sailing instruments network and leveraging Starlink for widely available high-ish speed internet. The technology in sailing has come a long way!
