Summer 2024: The Crew Goes to Europe

In which we leave the boat behind in Maryland and start a 2-3 month journey where we wander around Europe with no particular agenda.

We’re hanging in Annapolis, making the best of extended boat projects, and enjoying time with family over the 4th of July.

First of a series of posts summarizing Pinky & Charlie’s adventures in sailing & cruising around the Bahamas over the course of 3 months.

Seasickness is more common than anyone thinks, and we have found many ways to deal with it. Checkout our approaches and experiences.

Our first stop on our Bahamas 2024 adventure is Great Harbour Cay in the Berrys. We ate local food, explored golf club ruins, & enjoyed the views.

Going south, the Loka crew learn lessons about planning, maintenance, and begin enjoying their cruising journey.
